Featured is one John Barton In-Person Autographed 5"x7" Black and White Photo, signed and personally inscribed in ink fountain pen, "To Arthur Stadtmiller Best Wishes John Barton."
The highlight of Barton's Broadway career was his starring role as Jeeter Lester in the play, Tobacco Road (1933). Barton assumed the role in 1934, and became the most celebrated Jeeter. He played the role on and off for five years, performing in over 2,000 of Tobacco Road's 3,100 performances.
Autograph was obtained in person in New York.

CONDITION:
Overall poor condition with obvious wear including some bends, corner crease, surface impressions, paper loss, toning, staining, paper residue, and ½" closed tear on bottom border that goes through autograph.
