FAMOUS DECEASED AWARD-WINNING ACTRESS "HELEN HAYES" 1942 SIGNED CHECK

This is a 1942 personal check (see picture) nicely signed by award-winning deceased actress HELEN HAYES.  The check is actually signed "Helen MacArthur" because Helen Hayes was married for years to playwright Charles MacArthur; their adopted son, James MacArthur, starred in the television series "Hawaii Five-O".  Helen Hayes, known affectionately as "The First Lady of the American Theatre", is one of only 12 individuals to have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award.  She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Sadly, Helen Hayes passed away in March 1993 at the age of 92.  This check is clean and intact, exhibiting the usual folds, creases, bank marks, and cancellations; there is a slight portion of the upper left corner torn away.  The signature is bold and very legible.  This check would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a very unique gift for that Helen Hayes enthusiast, American entertainment historian, or celebrity autograph collector in your life!  Postage is .00.  And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases.  Sorry, NO international shipping.  Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
