American Theatre Wing First Night Ball 1955 Program Helen Hayes Signed
Offering a program book from the 1955 First Night Ball December 30 1955 held at the Waldorf Astoria and given by the American Theatre Wing in honor of its President, Helen Hayes. It is an oblong octavo booklet, spiral bound with stiff pictorial wraps designed by costume and scenic designer Raul Pene duBois. Unpaginated with black and white pages of ads and program content and a 1956 calendar toward the back of the book. Signed in pen on the first page by Helen Hayes next to her photograph. In very good to excellent condition. There are a couple of stains and a stamp on the back which reads DUPL NYPL so this must have come from the New York Public Library's collection.
